Today was an adventure

The boys stayed with Grandma Barb & Grandpa Ray last night.  They had fun.  Then today was My parents 46th wedding anniversary!  Congrats to them!

We decided to drive down to Cabela's today and take my parents with us so they wouldn't set home on their anniversary and do nothing.  Paul wanted to take the boat out but we were supposed to get storms.

We got to Cabela's and everything was cool as a cucumber... well not outside.  Outside it was HUMID.  We had just went upstairs to the camping section to check that out then head out.  They came across the speaker and told everyone to go to the shoe department and back into the warehouse because there was a TORNADO WARNING.  I was a little freaked out.

My Mom had just walked away with the boys so Paul and I could look at the camping stuff since we are starting that adventure.  Dad was off.... somewhere.  But I KNEW she didn't hear the speaker so I took off toward her and apparently she knew something was wrong by the look on my face.   Paul ditched the cart and took the boys down the steps.  I got my parents toward the elevator since my dad was in an electric scooter, he has super bad knees.  Then I ran back toward the stairs and down them to find Paul and the boys.  I was nervous until we were all together again then I was fine.  We were back in the warehouse for almost and hour before they let us out.

Luckily nothing bad happened.  But after getting home and as I am typing this the FOX news in on and there was a possible tornado in Eaton Rapids, Mason I think they said, and Perry.  They are saying it'll either be straight line winds or a tornado but the national weather service has to verify it.  They did just say the one by Perry was confirmed.

Yikes!

I've had it with this weather.

Well I am off to bed since Paul want's to get up before six in the morning to go fishing.  The boys are NOT going to like that.
