Good bye 2014 - Hello 2015
Last year was a good year for the most part.
January was cold as usual.
February I took my Mom to see Kenny Rogers.
In April Grandma Shoemaker turned 90. Little did we know at this time it would be her last birthday with us.
In May we surprised the boys with their 2nd trip to Disney World.
Paul conquered Barnstormers... A roller coaster. Paul is chicken and doesn't like roller coasters, David and I talked him into riding this with us. He liked it, Matthew did NOT. Paul and David went on to ride it two or three more times while Matthew and I went on Dumbo.
We got back in time for Paul's mom to have a milestone birthday. She turned 60!
Then it was summertime and we did fishing and camping.
We made it to Seney this year!
The boys turned 8 and started 3rd grade in August.
This fall my parents had to have their kitty put to sleep. She had a big cancerous tumor on her belly that they had removed once. It came back. Dad was really close to his kitty.
I got a new kitty to add to the family. We already have butters (the orange cat) Myla is the new kitty, she's calico. They don't really like each other but they don't hate each other.
Then December 27th, just after her favorite holiday Grandma gained her wings and flew to heaven. She will be missed but I am very happy for her. VERY. She lived a good life, was a great person and deserves her spot in heaven. I can't be sad when I know she's so happy.
So here is 2015.
My resolution is to pull myself away from my electronic devices more, go to the gym and try to loose some weight. And find a new job that I like and enjoy doing.
